Jeff Huang
Jeff is the founder of DST. After attaining a Management Information Systems (MIS) degree from Cal. State University, Northridge, he was initially employed by CBS Studios where he attained both Novell Network Engineer and Microsoft Network Engineer certification followed by a stint as an IT engineer at Disney Studios. He soon moved to Mark Cuban’s Rysher Entertainment and Gold Circle Entertainment (presided over by Norm Waitt, the co-founder of Gateway Computers) where he both created and managed their IT departments in various locations while providing support for literally hundreds of employees. Additionally, for the past 15 years, he has utilized his Information Technology expertise to support small and medium sized industries by installing and managing affordable yet state-of-the-art IT systems.
Evelyn
Evelyn, with a Business Finance degree from the University of Southern California, is DST’s financial overseer. For several years, she served as Controller for MAC Monitors when it enjoyed the number two ranking (behind Sony) in the computer monitoring industry. Subsequently, she was employed as an Account Manager for American Express where she specialized in managing the personal finances and assets of many high-end entertainment and business clients.
Darren
Darren has been working for DST from its virtual inception. Once—and still—a Swiss Army knife specialist at Feco, he initially became interested in personal computers because it rankled him to pay for video games. Accordingly, he enrolled with Microsoft where he earned Microsoft certification and has worked with DTS ever since.
Derek
Derek, a ten year veteran of DST, is its Senior IT Engineer. As a certified Microsoft engineer, he has participated in the design and problem solving of complex network problems for a host of DST clients. (Perhaps most importantly, he can direct management and staff to the finest and most authentic Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood.)
Ron
Ron is DST’s VB.net developer and programmer. When working together at Rysher Entertainment, Ron (a colleague of Jeff Huang at Rysher) supported and maintained the company’s rights and license database as well as developing a sub-program to search for additional license rights and extract revenues from existing assets. Since joining DST, he has composed many custom database programs for DST’s diversified client base which, among other things, monitor medical records, time logs, sales commissions and other corporate details. (And since everything isn’t computers, he’s a father of two and a weekend soccer coach for children under 10.)
